Development of My Coding Coach content initiated in 2014. A gap was identified between the training of coders in colleges and indepent programs and the industry needs. It was also determined there were scant training resources for coders that addressed all critical elements, which include clinical, procedural, and regulatory concepts. To that end, My Coding Coach was created.
Our education development staff members include AHIMA and AAPC credentialed individuals with a combined total of over 60 years of experience in the HIM field. All of our education content is developed by coding auditor/educators and then reviewed by credentialed coders.
Our goal is to create a dynamic training environment that assists coders of all levels of experience and expertise.
